Hi guys! [Apr. 4th, 2009|02:53 pm]
WDW College Program
[Current Mood |cheerfulcheerful]

My name's Scarlett and I'm a newbie at this community. x3 I'm planning on applying for the program next school year. I have a question: What's the rate of acceptance for this program? I don't need like, specific numbers or anything, but I just want to know, how likely is it that I'll be hired? I'm not planning on going into a specific role really; I'll take whatever they give me! Thanks for reading/answering!

This is not college ;) Apply as soon as application is available, answer interview questions like they want you to (aka I will make guest happy by................ I will make a ride safe by........) and you're in ;).

Very few people ever get rejected, but *A LOT* of people never complete the program--roughly half who enter leave before the end of their program.

A variety of reasons...

-First job they've ever had and can't handle it.
-Too stressful for them.
-Can't show up to work and/or on time.
-Get homesick.
-Can't follow company policies.

Most people don't get fired though; the majority quit because they sign on for a vacation and then realize when they get there that they're going to have to work.

Disney college program

I was really worried lol about the rejection rate. I went to the live presentation, then immediately followed up by setting up an interview date. I had my interview this past Friday and feel good about it. It’s just that I never had a phone interview and I was worried that messed it up. She was a really nice lady.. And I let her know I was really excited like four times lol. I just want to know If I should worry about not getting in. I’ve been pretty positive and I just a little nervous now. I just wanted to know what my chances of getting in to the program are.

Re: Disney college program

The rejection rate has gone up a lot since I've done the program, but for the WDW program it's still very easy to get in if you're willing to do QSFB.

However, DLRs CP has apparently turned into a mini-Professional Internship as last I heard they've accepted LESS than 200 people for the Spring 2010 internship.
